We paid $5,763.09 to Expedia for a Jamaican vacation March 13-19, 2011. Expedia failed to make our reservation and failed to ever inform us of this failure. Result was Expedia had to move us to a different resort the day before we left for Jamaica since the resort we booked was full. This presented major problems as we were vacationing with two other families and were separated. Since these are all-inclusive resorts, we couldn't travel to their resort to visit without the required resort wrist band. The point of this vacation was a family reunion which was ruined by Expedia's breach of contract. Equally frustrating was their customer service that left you on hold for approx. an hour each call, were difficult to understand, and failed to resolve the issue. Follow-up correspondence with Expedia, Inc. has resulted in mere apologies.
