Sears - Sears online ordering is a deceitful sham

I ordered a hard-to-find item from The next day I received an email that it had shipped. 8 hours later, I received an email confirming my return. When I called the "Personal Shopper" number in that email, the woman told me that they had a hard time finding my address (never -EVER- a problem before), then changed her story to say that the item had been damaged in shipping, and told me that the shipping company was a different one from what was in the "your order has shipped" email. When I told her I wanted to place a new order, she informed me that the item was out of stock. You can draw your own conclusions. I wonder if it was ever in stock to begin with. Why else would they give me so many flimsy excuses? It's more likely that their online ordering system cannot keep track of their inventory. I will NEVER shop at Sears or any of their associated brands again.
