Product: Data accuracy

Company: TeleCheck

Location: 5251 Westheimer
Houston, TX, 77056, US

Category: Other

Because of a serious data error caused by TeleCheck, I was denied essential services. I got the matter cleared up but not after considerable efforts and I have asked for a copy of my free annual file disclosure pursuant to the Fair Credit Reporting Act and have been denied citing needing:

(1) a daytime contact phone number

(2) a copy of your drivers license

(3) your social security number

(4) a voided check

(5) a copy of a tax or utility bill reflecting your current address

be sent to a PO box which I am not willing to do because the mail is unsecure, thereby putting my identity at hi risk.

TeleCheck has verified who I am which is how they cleared up the original matter. Now I just want a hard copy for my records and they refuse...

TeleCheck has no problem admitting to an error but refuse to put it in writing.

TeleCheck's entire exisistence feeds off of cunsumer errors, it would be nice (fair) if TeleCheck (and other companies that make serious data errors) were required to pay fees and charges like they demand consumers do when they make errors...

Do as I say, not as I do...
