In May 2010 I purchased a vehicle from

Foreign Affairs Auto

1681 N Military Trail

West Palm Beach, Florida 33409

Mr. J. Ortiz, used car salesman, (561)478-9999 [email protected]

I was told the car was in excellent condition with no history of accidents.

In April 2011 I traded it for another car and when a CarFax report was requested by the dealer, it showed that on 8/21/2007 an accident was reported with a Florida Damage Report (I have a copy of the CarFax report).

Because of the accident, he lowered the trade in value by $500.

I would not have purchased the car had I known about the accident.

Being a disabled veteran on 100% disability, I do not expect special treatment. But I do expect to be treated fairly. The response from Foreign Affairs Auto pointed to the fact that the car was in good condition. That is true, but has nothing to do with my complaint. It was also pointed out to me that I purchased the car through eBay and eBay has CarFax available to customers. That may be true, but I purchased the car from Foreign Affairs Auto and I had no knowledge of what CarFax was. The dealer certainly did and made no mention of it to me. They had to know of the accident report, as they are in the business of buying and selling cars and would have requested a CarFax report.

They refuse to discuss $500 compensation for my loss.
