Lois K, the "Customer Service" clerk was rude and disrespectful to me. As I explained to her my concern she said, "I can see why the cashier was rude to you!" I had said that I had forgotten my customer discount card, had followed the procedure and policy that she had laid out, but that cashier had not allowed me to explain what Lois K. had told me.

When I said I was going to post a complaint online, Lois K. said, "That's fine, spell my name right!"

I then explained the situation to HR Manager Karen Bowers and, while sympathetic, could only offer to refer me to the store manager. I wonder what he would have done, short of saying... anything.

This is not customer service by any means. Price Chopper has not clue what the term means, "The customer is always right." Of course, they are in good company with the rest of corporate America. Basically, American businesses do not care.
