SAMSUNG - Defective Product

I baught this TV at Best Buy Store in August 2008 without an extended warranty. My believe is that, any new product that doesn't work for at least the first 3yrs is defective. Thats what I baught. This TV has numerous problems, from the capasitors to the main board and the sound. Samsung replaced the capasitors which was a recalled part and I have to pay $399.77 to replace the main board. After replacing the main board, the sound was lost. I believe this particular model should have been recalled and taken off the market. Samsung has refused to replace my TV, instead they continue to send their Technicians to my residence for repairs at my expense.

Did you buy Best Buy's protection plan or Samsung's? If its still covered by Best Buys they will send a technician out to your house at no cost to you and once you recieve 3 qualifying repairs on the 4th the replace your tv. 1-800-GEEK-SQUAD is the number to call if you bought BEst BUy's protection plan.
