My Driver window collapsed into the door requiring a $350 total repair cost. I found a website that has 160 + (or more) complaints with the same exact issues for drivers with an average of 112, 000 miles, with an average cost of $330 per window. Multiply that by 4 for every driver (for all windows) times the number of 2004 models and later F-150 (and possibly even Ford SUV's) and you're talking about an exorbitant amount of money. No wonder FMC refused a government bailout, as the public has done it for them with the ludicrous ripoff window repair issues. This issue is not not just limited to 2004 F-150 models either. I've accidentally stumbled across the proverbial motherload of scams, and this one is it.

Both my windows mechanism has broke the thing I have is there is no way to secure the window when it falls. Ford needs to have a way to lock the window after you pull it up from the door or better yet build a better mechanism. I have a 2004 Ford F150. I had a 2000 Mercury that all 4 windows had the same problem.
