Product: craftsman ZTS 7500 zero turn 42 mower

Company: Not Available

Location: US

Category: Other

I purchased a ZTS7500 about June 1 2007 and used it 20 hours before the deck wouldn't engauge the first try in 2008. The serviceman had no repair manuals on it so it took 6 weeks and cost them $2400.00 to fix a $2800.00 machine. It ran good for the rest of 2008 and 2009 but the second mowing of 2010 the engine locks up. It's out of warranty so I pull down the Briggs and Stratton Extended Life Engine (it has 223 hrs on it) and every thing in it is broken, encluding the casing. I'm out a total of $2800.00 for a piece of junk. Beware of the Sears Craftman ZTS series. They only sold the ZTS 7500 for a few years so there must of been a major problem with them. Craftsman and Britts and Stratton have always been the top of the line in tools and engines but they fell short on this machine.
