I rented an SUV from Fox Rent a Car for a week followed by a sedan for five days. I returned the SUV an hour before the contract expires, I was told by a crooked Mr. Michael the reservation for the sedan starts the next day. I was shocked. Why would I book a car in a strange city, return it one night and pick up a replacemrent car the next day? Obviously this was a mistake. I still agreed to pay for one more day but the price that was quoted was $163 for first day (which they claimed was my mistake) and $23 per day for next 4 days where I had reservations! And during this episodfe, several times Michael turned to his friend and smiled as though all this was a game. This "mistake" was obviously a made up story for Fox to rip me off. Then they refused to let me use up the remaining one hour I had paid for with the SUV (he said he had already closed the contract but he had NOT touched his keyboard the whole time). So I gently asked for a phone book so I could make other arrangements with another company. He asked me who I wanted to call and he knew that car rental company's number by heart and began calling that number for me and said he would negotiate for me! Obviously I now totally do not trust him and asked only for the phone number and that I would call from my cell phone. He refused to give me the number and refused to allow me to see his telephone book (which was visibly on his desk). Then he refused to send us back to airport on their shuttle (they did not actually say we cannot go on the shuttle but we waited half hour to see two shuttles come and offload passengers but they would not pick us up and they'd speed away eventhough I told the driver I wanted back to airport). Then we walked a lot (with a VERY VERY heavy box of printed brochures in my hand plus four more cases) to find a taxi. He would not give me the taxi telephone number!

This is a FRAUDULENT company and its staff Michael is MOST dishonest. Stay away from these crooks.

(two days after the event: I still have a bad back from carrying the boxes)
