This guitar stand has a under support system that turns! When you take your guitar out of the stand the under support system has a tendency to turn[meaning that it is leaning downwards].If you do not notice it and put your guitar back in the stand the guitar can fall out. This has happened to my guitar.Result!A broken neck!! Also it is a very expensive guitar!!

I just bought two from Lidl in the UK. I agree that the bottom support frame turns but if you remember this it will be OK. Otherwise a sturdy stand and very good value!

Glad I found these comments as I bought a new Clifton stand and thought there must be a bit missing as the bottom rest tilts. This might be to accommodate a guitar model with an offset body but good design would still have stopped the free swivelling action which always seems to end up upside down.

I''ve tried a few - elastic bands, o rings etc. Not a problem to fix it permanently for home use but if it needs to be folded for gigs more of a problem.
