Sears, et al, should change their "Customer Solutions" Dept. to "Customer Apologies" Dept., since this is as far as their solutions are willing to take them. Our dishwasher was installed in July 04. In August 07, then in October 07, the door hinge broke, causing the (very heavy) door to drop like a ton of bricks. First left ($103. to repair), then the right ($103. to repair). Now, it's happened again ($150 to repair). Called Sears "customer solutions" and tried to persuade them to repair it at their expense, since this is obviously, their design defect. They sent me to Whirlpool (couldn't help), they sent me to Kenmore (couldn't help) and no supervisor available when I asked to speak to one. I asked for their "complaint" dept. and they sent me back to "customer solutions". They refused to consider repairing or reimbursing, so I gave them my complaint and informed them that I'd never buy another of their products since they won't stand by them. Isn't this what "done-in" GM?
