Biggest rip off dealership I ever dealt with. I've been going there for many years, but only when I had to for dealer service because they are close to my house. I recieved a $500 gift card to use for service or car purchase. First of all when I get there, the service advisor is sitting in her cubicle texting on her phone and totally ignoring me. Finally after a few minutes she turns around and asked if I'm being helped (duh). I needed some work done on my expedition and when I presented the gift card, they would not honor it. They told me that the gift card doesn't apply for the work I did (of course). When I told them I'll pay with my credit card and then dispute the charges, they would not release the car to me unless I paid cash. I intend to take this to small claims to get my money back.
When I told the manager that they lost a customer, his reply was OK.
I would recommend Vista Ford if you ever need service or to purchase a car. Vista Ford's service and sales people are great.

Paying with a credit card and intending to dispute the charge is called "Criminal intentent to defraud" where I live. and you were supriesed when they made you pay cash. As to the gift card and the response from the dealer I bet the card was a promotion toward the purchase of a new car or as a % of accessories etc. and you chose to ignore that.

"Your card is good for 15% OFF on non-discounted Service,Parts,& Accessory purchases with a $500 maximum total of all discounts" This is what is printed on the card. It also says "excludes prior purchases & orders, state and local taxes," This consumer in fact had requested a discount at the time the estimate was presented and this discount was honored. When this consumer went to the cashier he presented his card as payment for the repair. Because the repair had already been discounted no further discount could be applied.

The other response to this post sounds about right...I have a great ides why dont you post a picture of this card for us all to see. I think the real problem here is the privacy rules keep this individuals name hidden, other business' should be alerted and aware of any individual that doesnt what to pay for services rendered, or considers it ok to overtly commit a crime and then post it on the internet. Nice post but I think I will look for advise from folks not openly criminal.
