I purchased 4 new tires and mounted them on 4/21/2009. Since I knew I needed to get them aligned I took them to SW alignment. I heard good recommendations from customers so I decided to try them out. Everything was fine with my car until I started noticing shaking. When I went over a small bump the back of my car would go from left to right as if I was about to loose control (its not like I was speeding) I usually go speed limit. My bf told me today 9/5 that my rear right tire was bald. Only the rear right tire. He told me automatically it was the alignment (he is a mechanic, but not for the make of my car which is why I went to SW alignment) he told me to call sw and let them know of the situation. I got a hold of the Owner Greg and immediately after I was letting him know of my complaint he was speaking rudely to me letting me know that the Houston roads were bad etc. which I do understand (my drive to work is taking all 610 to the galleria area and the feeder so I know my car does not go through the ugly side of the Houston roads.) I advised to him that the tire was completely bald and he told me as the owner of the car I should know to see the car and make sure that everything is OK and the balding was my fault. I advised to him that I went to his business as a customer to get my car's alignment and the job was done there and I if it was not done correctly then that was the end result my tire being bald due to that. I explained to him that I didn't pop any curves nothing to that matter and my wheel shows it. It is in an immaculate condition. I explained this to him and all he told me was that he was only going to realign it and that was all the rest was my fault. From there he told me he had another customer and hung up on me. What kind of owner is that way? He was rude, belligerent and I will definitely not recommend anyone to that business. Also I will point out that the tires were also not cheap tires, I spent about $700 on Yokohama s.

What do I do, I feel that his business should pay up but he already said he will definitely not pay for my tire. The rest of the tires are nearly new. I only drive 8 miles a day so the wear on the tires would not show yet.
