garmin or one of its retailers (tiger) does not inform potential buyers that one must buy a cable before he or she can register the product for warranty protection.


Fortunately for the consumer, garmin sells such a cable. I didn't buy a cable from garmin or tiger and wouldn't have under any circumstances.


I consider this business practice underhanded and unethical. I would not be here were the cable included.


I'll spend my money anywhere but at those businesses!
