POSTING FALSE AND MALICIOUS LABEL ON MY PICTURE

This group have been hosting this image of me that they cowardly labelled with false, defamatory, and malicious information intended to blackmail and intimidate me. I am demanding that they pull it down immediately and pay restitution for the damages they have caused me since 2004 when it appears they started this campaign of blackmail.

This man called Herbert Emenike Nwankwo collected money from Umuigbo. He said he was collecting the money for Ikemba campaign. His plot to steal the money and fool Umuigbo will shock you. When he was asked what he did with the money, he began to insult the parents of the people that asked him questions.

It is good you brought this topic up. You see, my cousin in Germany and I sent one payment from Germany to Emenike in Texas for the Ikemba fund. For many weeks, Emenike refused to acknowledge receipt of the money. When it became clear that the money would be useless to the Ikemba campaign, I asked my cousing to cancel the draft and stop payment.

After payment was stopped, I am now told that Emenike tried to cash the draft in person, but the bank refused because the draft had "for deposit only" written on it, and payment was already stopped by my cousin. Until today, Emenike has refused to acknowledged receiving the money.

That guy must really be foolish to think he could silence people by dragging their mother into the debate. He needs to explain why he failed to report funds he received; why he cashed and attempted to cash funds meant for deposit, why he failed to deliver the funds on time for it to be used in the elections, why he reported less money than he collected, and many more questions. If he thinks he can bully people with brutish threats, he is in for the shock of his life. This kind of person is more dangerous to Igbo interests than those election riggers at home. Is it not also true that Emenike Nwankwo wanted to give some of the money to Omar Sanda Nwachukwu at some point? I now understand why some people withdrew their pledge to the Ikemba Fund.

Cry the beloved Igbo. For how long will your rotten children betray you?

Played on the emotion of innocent umuigbo is diaspora, who are itching to make a difference back home during the just conclude election. The presidential election was held April 19 2003, and up till April 13th, Emenike was staying around collecting money from people without sending any to Ojukwu;s campaign.

It is well known that Emenike Nwankwo is one of the dimmest of the Igbo dimwits at Yahoo. Those of you from BNW who have engaged him in a joust will admit that Emenike Nwankwo is certainly one of the sloppiest writers of all the ones at Yahoo that append PHD to their names. Onyema Ikekwere will attest to that. I remember some heated debates between some of you here and Emenike Nwankwo.

Originally, Emenike�s handle at Yahoo was �Godwin.� But, when he sought to peddle his 419 business, Salutech, he came out with the Igbo name, "Emenike Nwankwo." As it turned out, his so-called engineering degree is nothing but a glorified business and environmental applications method diploma dubbed industrial engineering degree, which he supports with a hodgepodge of makeshift community college degrees and certificates of participation.

Emenike Nwankwo is known to be cocky and unrefined in his manners. It does not surprise me that he overlooked the rules for handling money that he was supposed to hold in public trust. The good news is that people like him are as dangerous to themselves as they think they are to their perceived enemies.

This is the kind of statement that an emotionally derranged fellow makes. The sentence actually is not phrased right. I have never learned in High school or been informed from my family upbringing that the Yorubas are smarter than Ndi Igbo. The fact remains the other way round.

Test an IQ of an Igbo K student to any ethnic child in Nigeria, the result comes out superior. Williamson stick to the issue and don't let your goddamned emotion cloud your thinking faculty. If your angry that you got hosed, don't sweat about it by disparaging Ndi Igbo. Copy that?

As a new member to this board, this is the first time I hear of Igbo fund or the link with Yahoo. Any information to inform me on the latter will be welcome.

What I know is that Easterners' shortchanging their own people is not new, but should not be generalized. Normally, there should have been a bank account for Ikemba fund, the account number supplied, etc. Whenever we ask people to give send money for a cause, in this case, electoral campaign, there is no way the addressees won't ask themselves whether the money would go to the said project. If we estimated that, from the information we gathered, there was possibility of fraud or that there was not enough means of verifying the accountability, then we should not send anything. We could ask the organizers to take more measures to guaranttee accountability.

In the case where someone is accused of fraud, we should be able to take legal action against the person, thereby giving the person the possibility to defend him/herself. Everybody should not send their mothers to do the audit, otherwise the accusation could amount to defamation or misinformation. We should be given means of getting information about the fund as well as the receiving receipts. This means verifiable postal address, telephone, name, account number, etc.

These information are important to take legal actions in case of fraud. If found guilty, punishments should be such as to dissuade other people from doing the same in the future. The legal action could be in Nigeria or in diaspora.

I am thnking about raising money to support X Biafran soldiers and Libraries for Awolowo in every countryside in Lagos because it is the fastest way to make money when you have bunch of gullibles and glorified asshole who cannot differentiate between a legit and a conman.

However, I know that some of you meant well but you do not raise money through the internet. And you do not send a check or money order to any person or group whose legitimacy is in question. The best money raising through the internet is when these managements like BiafranigerianWorld.com, NigeriaWorld.com and Gamji.com are involved, now thats legit. They will be able to create a data where you can view how much money raised. You can sue these addresses if they fail to account for the money raised.

Igbos are like the Yankees. Just like the Yankees are compassionate and very giving for good cause, the Igbos are equally the same. Just like the Yankees will hose you, some Igbos will. They are business people, it does not matter who you are or your ethnicity. They sizes up opportunities and make money at a given time. However, not all Igbos are into bad business. Most are legit.

The War in Iraq has made more money for individuals and groups than a baseball card has made in one month, Yankee style. One card with Saddam's pic sells for $10.00 and his son $5.00. Some companies are asking that every milk bought, .50cent goes to the families of soldiers fighting in Iraq but thats bull.

ADVISE

Unless, your a member of a legitimate group..do not send your money or you will be hosed. If any Nigerian or African, groups or individuals for good cause, ask you to give raw items like books, can food, furniture and computers for underpriviledged back home...thats ok As for me, I stick with the Redcross, United Way, Negro Funds and my suburban soccer team to raise money. By the way, the best way to raise money is through a paper plate dinner, one hot dog for $1.50 and Hamburger for $3.00, in that case you got your money worth.

I have read enough e-mail about this issue to now conclude that from this day forward, any Igbo person who sends money to the Emenike Nwankwo piggy bank is aiding and abetting fraud. We cannot tolerate a situation where the name of all Igbo or the name of an Igbo icon such as the Ikemba is used to raise money for fraudulent purposes and by a person who he is accountable to no one but himself.

If Nwankwo believes that any name will do, he should call it the �Nwankwo Fund� and see if anyone cares. If he does not mend his ways quickly, there are very simple steps that could be taken to bring his fraud to the attention of the IRS. Please pass this message to him, wherever he is hiding.

It seems that Herbert Emenike Nwankwo has recruited a fool to cover up his dirty deeds. That fool is in yahoo forum with the handle "Ifeanyi Nzekwube." Here is what a school mate of mine who knows "Nzekwube" and his family wrote,

You know how it is in BiafraNigeria. Yoruba people think that anything belonging to an Igbo man is "abandoned property." So, they hung around Odili's forum long enough to steal it from right under his nose. As usual, you will find some minority people going along with them in the theft.
