Sears Cananda recalled 2 Models of Kenmore Stoves because they had faulty burners that would not shut off or down and were likely to go on fire.the recall was from 2001-2009.My stove is 1999,2 yrs.out of the recall in the meantime I had sears in yesterday to fix my Stove that has the exact same problem as those stoves and they charged me $370.00 I felt mine warranted to be part of the recall but sears were adamant that they would not include mine.That was yesterday.now the repair guy told us that the rest of the burners were fine WELL.now today I am having the same problem with 2 of my other burners,My husband was on the phone holding for a full hr. to be told that they will still not incude this in the recall but they will send a service man up again to repair the others.YES for another $740.00.WHAT A RIPOFF STORE THIS IS.
