CARELESS AND CALLOUS VET.

On 9/24/09 I left two 6 month old cats,one male and one female at Lee Veterinary Clinic to be neutered. At the time the cats were dropped off I signed a paper requesting and authorizing a post operative pain injection for both cats so they would not be in pain. Upon picking up the cats late that afternoon I discovered while paying the bill that the pain shots were NEVER administered leaving both cats in pain all afternoon. After confronting the staff they administered the shots with a "were so sorry". I told them that an apology didn't change the fact that their carelessnes was inexcusable and that they should be apologizing to the cats as they were the ones in pain. Then came the kicker: The next morning the female cat was DEAD. I guess a tribute to their wonderful surgical skills. Four days after the surgeries they called to see how the cats were. I informed them the female died overnight and got the standard "were so sorry". Started to tell them that was not good enough and they hung up on me. Does this sound like a vet you want to take your pets or animales to?? "CARELESS AND CALLOUS" does not begin to describe it. "YOUR PET-YOU DECIDE".
