Nissan Almera timing Chain defect
|
Nissan Almera Nissan GB Nissan.com Dear Madam\Sir I own a Nissan Almera which its engine stalled when I was overtaking on a busy road. It nearly killed me. After doing some research on the internet I found out this is common problem with the Nissan Almeras which is due to a Renault Timing chain which stretches and causes the engine to stall and not restart. I took my car to the garage yesterday and they confirmed that it's the timing chain and it'll cost £900-£1000 to fix. If I know the Almeras had this problem I wouldn't have bought mine. I really think Nissan should recall the Almeras and fix their problem. Nissan customer services:01923 899999 Regards.
