Roketa Scooter Garbage

Hello, I bought this scooter from you (Scooter Nitro) because you offered a 36 month warranty. You went out of bussiness and never really helped me with any of my problems. How a piece of garbage like this roketa mc-54 250b scooter was ever allowed in the U.S.A. is beyond me. I have 672 miles on this scooter and have spent at least 100 hours working on it. The seat never latched. The speedometer did not work ( the cable has broke twice). I found various electical conections melted together and shorted out. I believe this burned up the alarm system and remote start which no longer work. The lights started turning on and off by them selves so I had to tear the light switch apart and resolder bad connections. The kill switch broke and caused intermittent stopping and starting while driving it almost wiping me out numorous times. I have to charge it all the time. The antilocking brakes are not antilocking and have also almost caused me to wipe out. It has blown the fuse on the radio twice. The gas cap never allowed air in and caused vapor lock causing the scooter to constantly kill. The muffler guard fell off while driving down the road. The seat seams have already started to tear apart. I can barely drive this scooter down the road without having to call someone to come pick me up because it has broken down again. This scooter is dangerous to drive. I also cannot sell it for fear of someone suing me. Needless to say, I am filling a complaint with these agencies.

One last thing. If you look at the reciept it says and I thought I was buying a Macho Man 260, but right on the scooter it says it is a Cyprus 250. I have pasted a copy of the reciept to this email because it is the same email I am sending to the agencies below.

I had the same problem with a company called AliteScooters.com they went out of business after I had problems. The same guy was the ower and has numerous complaints.

My gas gauge and temperature gauges don't work. I did find that the wire from the temperature gauge keeps coming off, which is why it doesn't work.

I also had a problem with mine dying at stop signs and traffic lights. Found out that the valves were not adjusted correctly. That has been fixed and I have close to 1,500 miles on my scooter now.

My seat is also ripping at the seams.

The model name on mine didn't match just like yours.

While I have had my share of problems with mine, I can at least still ride without too many worries.

Hope you can get your's fixed and be able to ride it or sell it.

Should have made sure the scooter came with a free PDI before shipping. That is the key to getting an online scooter! I have a mc-54-250b cyprus and love it!...No problems and IT is a great scooter.

I Bought the same Roketa MC-54 250B Scooter from the same Supplier with the same 36 month warranty (that they did not honor)in June 2008. I got 724 Miles on mine before it started to die on me every time I came to a stop. I spent all last summer and several hundred dollars working on it before I finally gave up.

I can't sell and I can't drive it. My advice is DON’T BUY A SCOOTER ONLINE! Buy local and make sure you know where they live and work too.

Couldn't find a layer who would take it to court under Missouri Lemon Law. So I am out $2200 and have POS Stuck in my Garage.
