Harley Davison warranty fraud

FLHTCU Heartland Harley Davidson 155 S. Roosevelt AVE Burlington, Io 52601 US heartlandhd.com Bob Knolls/owner/seller did not give full disclosure about warranty..... He told us that Harley Davidson would warranty the bike and Champion Trikes would warranty the conversion..... First time bike went to shop HD Corp black flagged the bike "no warranty" When I called them they said it was because it had "non HD Manufactured parts" ie: trike conversion and big bore kit,(all done by seller before I seen the bike in April '09) The bad part is the dealer knew HD would not warranty the bike before he sold it....... HD Corp and there claim to "non HD manufactured parts" is bunch of bull, there isnt a dealer in the world that can sell a bike that dose not have "non HD manufactured parts" HD contracts out to over sea's and other contractors for there parts. HD says "should have looked at owners manual" When you buy a bike u dont see a owners manual untill after you sign purchase agreement.,. It's a shame what this company has turned into, I'll bet Willie G's grandad is rolling in his grave From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Wednesday, 16-Sep-09 20:30:27 CDT Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This Comment On ThisWell now, Not Harley's fault. You were scamed by the dealer/modifier. And I bet you didn't take it back to him for warranty either. Thats how he will be scamming Harley, by not telling them it was modified. Good Luck and sue the right guy. From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Thursday, 17-Sep-09 14:20:57 CDT Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
