I recently purchased two cell phones on August 4th for my kids and was told that I would receive them in 3 to 5 business days well 3 weeks later and they finally tell me they are on back order. Finally I get a call that the phones are on the way so my sons arrives first on August 20th 2 days later my daughters arrives and on the 24th my daughters phone is in a box going back because it's defective. Now after having to put out 200 bucks for the phones AT&T tells me that I have to pay another 100 dollars to have the replacement phone shipped to me. Or I can wait till my refund is processed and then order my replacement phone the one that is to replace the broken one that they sent me. Also it could take up to 1 to 2 billing cycles for my refund to appear on my card.Hmmmm now that does not make sense. It only took them 4 days to take my money and charge my card the 212.44 to buy the phones so why is it going to take so long giving it back to me?? We have been customers of Cingular for 12 years and it's nice to know how the loyal customers are treated. I mean really your going to send me a refund of 100 bucks so I can turn around and give it right back to you? That is just stupid and taking unnecessary steps to over complicate things. So in order to get my REPLACEMENT PHONE because the first one sent to me was defective I need to give you another 100 bucks to ship it out to me when you won't give me my money back for as long as 2 months?? Ok no one sees a problem with this?? at all? not even a little bit??? So here I sit with no cell phone for my daughter until they send my refund bad enough I had to put money out of pocket in the fist place to buy them now they want just another 100 bucks. Well now some how that just doesn't seem fair to me!! Yup change is a coming!!
