Sergh J.Sapozhnikov of Toronto, Ontario, was offering Dell Studio 1537 and Dell Inspiron 1525 laptops for sell through the Kijiji classified system (ad reproduced at the bottom of this report). I called him, asked a few questions (Sergh said he had a relationship that allowed him to buy direct from Dell), and sent $614 through Paypal on July 27th. I was sent a Canada Post tracking number, which was generated using the online shipping label generation system. Sergh said the laptop would be mailed on July 29th.

As of August 2nd, the tracking information had not been updated, indicating the laptop was never dropped off at a Canada Post location. As I needed the laptop promptly, I cancelled the order by phone and by e-mail. On August 4th, I sent the following e-mail:

Hi Sergh,

I'm sorry to keep bothering you, but I do need to hear back from you. As of 12:40pm PST today, Canada Post only shows

2009/07/27 19:22 MISSISSAUGA An order has been electronically submitted

Therefore I must conclude the laptop was not shipped last week as you had planned. And I have not heard back from you regarding the order cancellation and refund. I'm sure you're just busy, or on vacation, or something, but without communication from you, I have no way of knowing for certain.

If I have not received a refund by the end of the day today, or communication explaining what the current status is, I will have my credit card issuer dispute the transaction. I'd much rather settle with you directly--even keep $10 for your time.

Sorry again for the hassle, but it is a large amount of money to me, and I need to know what is going on. Thanks,

Sergh promised to refund me on August 11th, saying he was out of the country. On August 12th, he apologized for not refunding me, and said, "It should take few more days because I need to add money to my PayPal account."

That is the last I heard from Sergh. It is now September 4th. If Sergh provides a refund, I will update this report. Otherwise, I must conclude I am a victim of fraud, and advise against doing business with Sergh J.Sapozhnikov, Sevenway Inc., Zestappa, or any business or venture connected with Sergh. Acctually, it is to easy to call such situation a fraud.

There over 200 laptops were sold. No complains at all. And we have 2 delivery problem.

I have sent these laptop by myself. Canada Post provided me with tracking numbers. Then I never receive a confirmation of delivery or these laptops back. I'm still in dispute with Canada Post. I hope to receive these laptops back or, at least, an insurance I paid. Also, even you paid for the laptops by PayPal, I didn't receive a penny. Why? Because, before I can withdraw a penny from the funds you paid, a confirmation of reception of these laptops by a buyer should be provided to PayPal. So, you finally received your money back as a full refund from ebay. Correctly? I still have no these laptops back and no money.

For you attention: This was a private sale. I bought these laptops from a Dell warehouse. I paid cash. My own cash. I also paid by myself for the shipping. But, again, YOU HAVE RECEIVED YOUR MONEY BACK; I HAVE NO LAPTOPS BACK AND NO MONEY. It should be $20 per laptop my profit. Instead, my profit is -$1500.

SO, before you call somebody a cheater check twice.

Hi, I already met sergh in person last friday sept 30 2009 if am not mistaken. I did receive the laptop. Dell 1545 for only $510 and it is true that the laptop is priced at $698+tax at walmart!. I do not know what happened to your deal with him but again we will meet up on monday and I will buy 2 more laptops. I hope my business transactions with him goes smoothly and I hope you guys here back from him. I really got my laptop! plus I am getting more to resell it.

I too had fraud experience with sergh_s AT msn.com.

He was selling dell laptops via kijiji and never shipping them. Communication was that he was promising and taking time (forever) and that is all.

I lost money and never got laptop.

The sad part is that he is still doing the fraud openly on kijiji these days:
