HP Laptop doesn't hold up
|
HP Pavillion Hewlitt Packard US I own a HP Pavillion laptop, it is now just a year and a half old and the computer is now dead. Apparently it is a known defect that this model is defective in both the power source and the motherboard. To replace the motherboard costs anywhere from $500-$1,200 and the original purchase price was $700++. How ridiculous is it for the parts of an almost brand new computer to cost that much? I spoke with India for over an hour today and of course all they tried to do was sell me a new one for $800. Who knows how long that model would last? How do I get this model, known for these problems FIXED at the manufacturers cost fixed or replaced? HELP... It's a LEMON.
