Davidson Chevrolet

I am a Chevrolet Owner and I recently took my car to a local franchise (Davidson Chevrolet 530 Eastern Ave Malden MA.02148) for repair work for a check engine light issue. I received a phone call telling me that the Diagnostic Test indicated that there was something wrong with the censor lights both in my airbag and on the check engine light and that it would cost me $661.00 to repair, they also advised me that there was nothing at all wrong with the engine. I ok'd the work to be done and was called the next day be service rep George to come and pick up my car. I went in accordingly got in the car and started to drive away. I drove about 2 miles down the road and realized that the check engine light is still on in the car so I pulled over and called the service department immediately. They advised first that there is nothing they can do about it today that it's "too late" on a Friday to bring it back, and then went on to tell me that there are possible additional problems with the engine relating to an h2 censor which could also indicate problems with a catalor converter. I am disgusted at a couple of things.

A. I take my car in for an issue and they let me drive away with the issue still there

B. B. I pay over $600 dollars for censor work that wasn't even done

C. When I call back in to advise of this I am told that it's "too late on a friday to fix it".

I will start here reporting this on the website and I will continue to write letters and reach out to management until I get to the highest party I can to get some resolution. This is no way to do business with a loyal customer who has done alot of business with Chevy in the past and I will not let this go until I am satisfied. This is the worst service I have ever received and I will continue to spread the word about the horrible treatment to everyone I can until something is done about it.
