Unrestricted pornography on Google

I am shocked as a parent and as citizen that Google has no restrictions whatsoever in its search engine (possibly yahoo too) to protect children from pornography. For example, type the word sex and go to videos and there is all this pornography with no screen warning you of adult sites; just an open door policy for everyone, including young chlldren. This is wrong - please help!
