Cricket customer service is the worst ever!! You cannot speak to a live person if your phone is suspended. It was explained to me that the reason for it was that "it's just looking for the payment". Well I made the payment yesterday 7 am (the phone was still on) and checked online this morning and the balance reflects this, but the phone has been turned off anyway and is still off. When I spoke to the representative yesterday he showed it in the system to post. They advertise a flat rate every month with no extra fees, except when you try to make your payment! The fees explained to me yesterday were as follows: $3.00 for an in store payment, $2.00 for a payment made on the automated system, $5.00 for a payment made over the phone...so they advertise no "extras", I guess that means except when they charge you extra to take your payment!! I could understand if it was a third party taking the payment, but it is their company taking their payment!!!!! The only free method was by mail, which could take who knows how long to post and online (their website), but it was explained to me that that method takes 48 hours to post and payments must always be made in advance of the due date to prevent suspension!! It is false advertisement!!!!
