I availed service of Sandeep Packers and Movers, Pune to shift my household items from my residence in Pune to Delhi. I was promised that the complete movement will be door to door; directly from my Pune address to Delhi address and there will not be any loading/unloading in between. The truck will start from Viman nagar Pune and reach at my above said address in Delhi directly. For this i was even charged extra money.

At the time of discussion I was promised safe delivery of all my household items by you. As per our discussion the goods were transported from Pune to Delhi. The consignment was delivered to me on 2nd October’09.

While receiving the goods I noticed following deficiencies in the service.

The truck which was carrying the items was a local numbered truck; which ultimately means that contrary to the promise made to directly do door to door shifting from place of pickup to place of delivery) the complete household items have been unloaded and again loaded to different vehicles during the transit.

The packing has not been done properly due to which most of the items were broken or had multiple scratches and major dents, which would be difficult to repair (List provided below).

Many Items were broken (List provided below).

Some of the items were not been shifted at all.

I have stopped the payment of the remaining 5000 rupees to them.

In all following damages have been made.

The Steel Almira has multiple major dents on both sides.

The front top of the Almira has been completely destroyed beyond repair.

The refrigerator has multiple major dents and scratches on the front side.

The wooden top of the TV Trolley has been broken from one corner.

Two wheels of the TV Trolley is broken.

Back of the Microwave oven has multiple major dents.

Middle glass of the Dining table is broken.

Glass of the picture frame (two frames, one big and other small) is broken.

Glass of the wall clock is broken.

Many crockery items have been broken.

The assembling of the Bed, Dinning Table and Center Table was not done by them.

One Leg of the center table is broken.

Aqua guard has been left in Pune, due to which I have to buy drinking water.

Although i had paid for unpacking, it was not done by them, i had to myself do unpacking for the items

This has been informed to them (by phone on their mobile no) and to their staff members (face to face discussion) here in Delhi office but no effort has been made by them to rectify.

Also the Insurance papers for which I have paid separate money has not been given to me.

I have called them several times, each time i am told that they will do it by eveing, but never turn up.

I have also mailed to them all these details but they are not responding to my mail.

I have also threatened them to drag them to Consumer court, but to no effect.

Please guide me how to proceed, i am ready to file a case against them in any forum if required.

As per details given by Mr. Abhijeet Kumar that we are packed thair stuff on 09/09/09 & store there house at viman nagar pune after 15 days they told us for loaded the goods on 26/09/09 for Delhi.

[I fully agree to the dates, and to add this was conveyed to you at the time of our first meeting only, when you visited my house to give the quotation.]

In between (17 days) the packing was unpacked by thair new member (that are thair ranted)Our exctutive Mr.Pradeep Sharma packed some items again.

[No items have been touched by anybody and repacking was not done for any items Only items that were packed by Pradeep was 3 cartoons and two mattresses, which were left at tiem of initial packing and this was confirmed by Pradeep himself on phone to me that all items are properly packed and in same condition as left by them, do not try to blame others for your mishandling]

There is no any reasponsible person at loading point to told that which item is shifting and which is not shifting,no body there for sign on packing list.

[This was already conveyed to you in our first meeting and was agreed upon by you]

For Aquagaurd they (thair new member) told us that this is not to be load.

[Again correct your facts Pradeep called me up at time of loading to ask about it and i told him that if he is not able to open it ask the security to get a plumber and get it opened, nobody has stopped you from shifting it.]

After delivery Mr.Abhijeet Kumar not ready to pay our balance amount Rs.5000/- we assure them to assmble all items but they getout our members from ther house at dwarka Delhi.

[Here i have already mentioned about stopping the payment in my intial mail, the reason is that they are not ready to assemblt and do unpacking for which i have been charged. There people started with unpacking but when he saw that so many items have been damaged due to mishandling, he started asking for money and said that he has to leave and will come next day to do the unpacking, under this circumstances i do not think any wise person will pay and let they fly away, also these guys are not ready to give me the insurance papers, for which i had paid extra money. Every time i call them he says he will get the assembling done and give me the papers on that day, but even after following up with them for so many days this is still not done. Enev on Monday when i last called him i said complete the work and take your money. i do not intend to keep your hard earned money, but first the work should be completed.]

Also he is keepin mum on items damaged due to mishandling. I wonder if he has eaten up the money which i had paid for insurence. The height of mishandling is that not only the glass items even the steel and iron items have been badly damaged or broken.

They had removed the mirror from bike while shifting, today morning when i went to mechanic to get it fixed iwas told that while removing i do not know how they did it the teeth of the handle has been damaged and i will have to buy a new set.

The steel stand used for drying clothes they have shipped so smartly that its one leg is broken.

The Center table has been handled so carefully that its one leg is broken. TV trolly its two wheels are gone.

The list seems to be never ending these are just few examples.

In last not to take too much time, i would say Ship the Aqua Guard, Do the assembling, and give me the insurence papers and take your Money.
