Complaint against Hughes Net

Hughes Net Hughes Net US www.hughesnet.com I was given the wrong information when signing up with Hughes Net. I was told I would be paying 99.00 up front. On a monthly basis I would pay a monthly fee of 59.99 and 9.99 rental fee monthly. Hughes took 170.78 for my first payment. Upon complaining about it I asked if they would compensate me for one free month for the inconvenience of them taking my bill money. I was told that they couldn't because It was in the contract and I hadn't been a customer for 30 days. I asked to speak to a higher supervisor and I was told that they would tell me the same thing. I still pushed to speak to someone else. I was told by Crissy, that supervisor, that there was no other supervisor available for me to talk to and they didn't have e-mail or out call abilities. I also was told up front that after making my first payment I could choice to pay my bill monthly without them taking it monthly. When talking to Crissy concerning it I was told that I would have to pay a extra 5.00 a month for a paper invoice. I got her to agree to keeping my credit card information on file and I would pay it myself before the due date. I was very unhappy with the end of this call. I would never refer this company to anyone. You should read the contract up front before signing up.
