On 11th October, I regsitered a compliant for service of my SAMSUNG make DVD player. On 12th a service engineer attended the call and said that the set needs to be sent to the work shop.on 14th I submitted my DVD payer for service at the SAMSUNG Service centre at Haridwar. On 24th I was told that the set has been rectified and I could take the set. I went to service center and asked to test the set. I was told that they do not have any DVD or CD to test but assured that there is no problem and the set has been rectified.Based on the assurance, I took the set home after making the payment for the service as the set was out of warranty. When tested the SET at house, it was not working. I took back the set to the service center and submitted it for rectification. I was told that I would be told by when it would be ready and till date I do not have any information. I ve called samsung customer care and was told that the complaint has been forwarded and I would be informed about the status but no one contacted nor gave me the status.


I wonder if the customer care calls are really being monitored, if monitored whether any action is being taken.


I am very much surprised by this type of Response from SAMSUNG as I am a strong loyal customer of SAMSUNG with all my appliances of SAMSUNG make.


I hope, SAMSUNG makes note of its customers greviences to retain its customer base.
