craigslist flagging
|
craigslist US http://craigslist.org I'm not a quiter but I think I've reached the end of my rope. I've been using CL for several years and am fully aware their rules, regs, etc, etc. I fully comply yet I have had ads flagged for no reason and no reason can be given or found. Their "Help Desk" is of no help. It is filled with the most useless of people that have no idea of the systems and software being utilized by CL. Flagging by nature is a very bad idea and system, it leaves opportunity for misuse which seems to be the norm at CL. To bad, CL could be a good thing but the senseless flagging of ads that fully conform to CL specs undermines the very system they seek to offer. Meanwhile did ya ever try to flag an actual scam or bad ad? Seems scammers have found a way to make their ads flag proof and the regular joe gets flagged by jealous or malicious people. Personal responsibility is the only thing that works in life... There are never any reasons given. Just a bunch of "ghosts" that seem to think they have the right to decide what should be there and what shouldn't. I am just going to stop using CL and look for somewhere else. You are right, it could have been a really good thing, but a bunch of anonymous people that don't have anything better to do than pretend that they are important has ruined it for everybody. You may be correct that the crims have the control of the site. I've been looking for work and real people looking for real workers get flagged while quote photographers looking for women and girls for particular shoots are still up? All the bogus scam ads stay up while legit ads are flagged??? WTF? If Craigslist really cared, and wanted to stop the spammish/Mass Flagging they could! Here is what our computer Guru told us would be a great way to stop these Mass Flaggers from using auto bot flaggers using multiple bogust IP addresses.... This should stop allot of the problems. > There are things Craig’s List can do but they have to be motivated to do it. > 1: They can refuse requests from IP addresses of known abused proxy servers. > 2: They could implement CAPTCHA verification for each flagging. Why dosen't some one do something about this inside Craigslist? I have a single friend that has tried to put his photo and info up on the single section, and then look for women his age with no luck. Well... some kept tearing down his add, and all the legitimate single girls adds too. The only things he could find was pimps and prostitutes selling a good time or message. Again.... where is the craigslist protection for that section. I own a legitimate motorcycle shop and get all my adds flagged. I post legal, and proper adds... and some one is getting their jollies flagging every one of or adds. I send e-mails to craigslist... and get no response. I know this is a free service, but lets run this thing right. If it takes money.... set me up an account for $25 per month... or even more. Lets just stop all the idiots from flagging legit adds. CL did nothing..... the only way CL will do anything is if they get bad press so contact your local trouble shooters on TV and start telling them about it.....
