Defective Lumber from www.flooringwarehousedirect.com

We purchased 4" white oak select through www.flooringwarehousedirect.com. The lumber was milled by Taylor Lumber. The floor cupped and we hired a National Wood Flooring inspector whose analysis said the wood was over dried. Taylor's sales manager, who we understand is not a NWFA inspector. denied the claim. The inspector responded to Taylor citing NWFA guidelines. To date, neither Taylor or flooringwarehousedirect.com will uphold the warranty. This flooring is defective and the fix is costing us thousands of $$$$. Beware buying from this company or Taylor lumber.

Long lead times on ordered flooring , horrible customer service, they never get back to you. Say they will call you and don't. Beware, company is not a scam but it's certainly wise to go elsewhere to save a nickel. Plenty of other options.
