SallieMae is ripping off students

Worst customer service ever. Customer service reps are clearly located in Bangalore or Delhi and do not have the authority to answer any questions or complete any transactions unless it's to defer a loan or reduce payments. The company also put me into deferment because I was taking classes at another school - despite my NEVER ASKING THEM to do so. Now I can't get the deferment removed because the rep I speak to doesn't understand what I am asking. SallieMae only cares about bilking students (and former students) for as much money as they can get by sneaking in a deferment, hoping you won't notice so that they can accrue more interest on what was probably an exorbitantly large loan in the first place.
