APOLLO INSURANCE THE WORST

Apollo Insurance Company Touhy Avenue Des Plaines, IL US I was hit by a landscape truck in front of my parents house. The damage was about $2700. This compnay is the worst. They covered the landscape truck but then told me that they had to hear from their insured before they could do anything to help me. THE GUY HIT ME!! They told me to contact MY insurance company. WTH? I was hit by a huge truck. Why do I have to wait for their insured to fill out forms? He doesn't even speak English. The driver was cited - an 18 year-old kid that didn't speak English - and literally had a drivers license from Mexico. I drive my car for work. It is basically undrivable. Why is this my issue? Who Mails forms anymore? They are just stalling. They said there is no timeframe for taking care of my car. their insured has to fill out papers. All other insurance companies take this informaiton over the phone. It appears they take money from customers and then don't pay when someone gets in an accident. I am also writing to Lisa Madigan. I wish you would post whatever resolution you had. My husband was cut-off and hit by a Greenlight customer on 80/94. The other driver was pulling into his lane, used no turn signal and hit our car on the passenger front fender. Luckily there were no injuries. The State Patrol report stated my husband was at no fault. He was up against the wall. Greenlight will pay for their customer's repairs and not ours. They are saying it was mutual blame. We'll be going to court because our damage is more than we can pay for.
