Marcus Blassingame of TSD Agency stole my money
|
TSD Agency / BlackMen Magazine US www.myspace.com/tsd_agency I unwillingly was forced into a business arrangement with Marcus Blassingame of TSD Agency and of BlackMen Magazine. I initially placed an $850 deposit with an acquaintance of Marcusâ named Charles Gardner of IEC Studios. This deposit was for an agreement where Charles was to act as a booking agent and have the fashion model Suelyn Medieros of www.Iluvsuelyn.com host an event at my venue. As mentioned above, I submitted a deposit to Charles Gardner through his paypal account. Immediately after receiving my money, Charles Gardner gave my money to Marcus Blassingame and told me that he no longer would be able to assist me and I must deal directly with Marcus Blassingame. Shocked that Charles Gardner would sway from his fiduciary responsibilities and give my deposit money to someone unknown to myself, I reluctantly called Marcus Blassingame. Dealing with Marcus was a nightmare from the beginning. Initially, Marcus said Charles never gave him the money. After several dozen calls to both Marcus and Charles, Marcus finally did admit that Charles game him my deposit money. However, Marcus said Charles owed him some money, and Charles said Marcus owed him some money from other endeavors so they would commingle and hold my money until their debts to each other were resolved. After countless calls and emails, Marcus said he would not refund my money, and that I had to sign a new agreement with him through his company TSD Agency to book Suelyn on a different date, and I would not get my money back. Left with no options, I signed his contract. Shortly after the new agreement was signed and faxed to Marcus, he sent me a text saying he was not giving my deposit back and he would âtake my apology in cash.â I believe this was his way of saying he was stealing my money. After receiving the text from Marcus, I called Charles Gardner who said that my money is now with Suelyn and he cannot deal with her as she is not willing to provide him with the name of the individual she wants to accompany her to host the event or other necessary information. Therefore, I must deal directly with Suelyn and once again, he did not want to be involved in the transaction. However, this time Charles did not provide any contact information for Suelyn. As can be seen, this event was a total shenanigans and the only way to deal with individuals like Marcus Blassingame and Charles Gardner is in court. People BEWARE of MARCUS BLASSINGAME. He was involved in stealing my deposit money and it is going to be a very difficult process getting it back. I also have had to cancel two events due to his scam. I have nothing to show for it other than six weeks of wasted time and a loss of $850. BE CAREFUL BEFORE YOU DO BUSINESS WITH MARCUS BLASSINGAME OF TSD AGENCY AND OF BLACKMEN MAGAZINE!!! You faxed a letter to the court saying you did not have enough money to make it to the court appearance, you also emailed me saying your âmoney is not where is should beâ and that is why you could not appear at the trial. I can post both of these documents up if you want. The plaintiff (me) filed a motion to cancel after your sob stories. Now, you are acting like you went to court, the judge heard the case and decided in your favor. You have no backbone. You could not even show up to court. And yes, you stole my money. As for slander â when you are dirty and I call you dirty â that is not slander. Furthermore, slander is the spoken, libel is written. If you are referring to the legitimate complaints about Charles Gardner, IEC Studios, Marcus Blassingame, and TSD Agency and how they stole my money, they are all in written form. Slander??? More importantly, you have said âHe can keep filing complaints its not hurting my business.â Then what would you be suing for??? I donât believe much of anything you say and canât image anyone else would either. However, as for needing legal counsel when dealing with Charles Gardner or IEC Studios that is 100 percent correct. When Charles Gardner steals your money, legal counsel is a must. Whether you could not make the court appearance because you have no money (Karma) or because you were just playing games trying to get out of going to court (liar) it is apparent that you DO BAD BUSINESS! Courtroom #3 has vacated Mr. Bedoreâs claim and dismissed the case. Anyone can contact the court clerk and see that this is true. I would like to ask this site to please remove this complaint which is intended to slander my name. Case # 10C13868 Thank you. I am trying to book a model to host a b-day party I am planning. I came across the model Suelyn and saw how much trouble it seems to be to have her come to a party. From researching it seems like the booking person is really up to no good. Marcus Blassingame who works for a company called blackmen magazine or blackmendigital.com or something like that seems to steal the deposit money. I even checked with the better business bureau at bbb.org and he has complaints against him. I am glad I did not get involved with this guy. Man, who can you trust these days? Does anyone know how I can get a model to come to my party and not worry about my money getting stolen? I work with the agency. This person booked a tsd model through a third party for an event when they should have been contacting the agency directly. When the agent did get involved he sent over an agreement that states that a deposit needs to be put down to secure the talent for a specific date. Suelyn is very busy and has many other bookings she even can back from Europe a day earlier for this booking to find out they want to switch the date to another week or so, she kept asking when the new date was the client was not professional in getting that information to her in a timley fashion when they did decide on a date Suelyn was already booked for another party. Under the contract the deposit rightfully remains with the models and it is nobodys fault but the clients that he suffered a loss because the model was compensated and rightfully should have been compensated more for her loss. It is all busineess at the end of the day and no one should cry about a sour business deal that didnt work in their favor. I hope anyone would understand that who claims to be a business professional.
