Digital TV

US I would like to know how we, the American public, got hoodwinked into changing to digital tv. It is the worst. I never had any of the problems I'm having now when my tv was analog. First, I was told I could get a converter box, hook it up to my analog tv, and there would be no problem. It was nothing but trouble. The converter box contantly overheated blacking out my picture until it finally blew out my tv forcing me to buy an new one which I could not really afford to do. This happened with both of my television sets. I feel like somebody owes me two tv sets but there is no one to hold liable. I think that the government should reimburse me seeing it was their bright idea to force everyone to "make the switch." The new digital tv is no pleasure either. Its picture continually breaks up or you get a message that there is 'no signal' and you have to fight with the antenna trying to position it so you can find a signal. This switch has really made watching tv a royal pain in the butt. I, as a consumer, feel that I have been taken advantage of by this conspiracy that took away my right to choose if I wanted my tv to be digital or analog. I was happy with the way things were. Digital TV sucks! From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Thursday, 15-Oct-09 10:02:00 CDT Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
