SAMSUNG/ATT AT&T AT&T MOBILITY PO BOX 536216 ATLANTA, GA 30353 US ATT.COM i HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER OF AT&T FOR SEVERAL YAERS, THRU BELL SOUTH AND CINGULAR, ALWAYS WIT A TWO YAER CONTRACT. I HAVE HAD MY LAST PHONE, A SAMSUNG A517 FOR 18 MONTHS. iT HAS A SHORT BATTERY LIFE FROM THE BEGINNING BUT RECENTLY THE BATTERY NEEDS RECHARGING EVERY 24 HOURS. i WENT TO AT&T TO PURCHASE A NEW BATTERY. i DIDN'T EXPECT ANYTHING FREE DESPITE THE BATTERY DEFECTS. i WAS TOLD THAT THE BATTERIES WERE UNAVAILABLE AFTER A YEAR AND MY ONLY OPTION WAS TO "UPGRADE EARLY" AT A MINIMUM COST OF $75.00. I REJECTED THE OFFER. iT'S NOT THE COST IT IS AT&T'S, "TOUGH BEANS"(?) ATTITUDE.
