Chase messing up my refinance and credit

Although I paid my mortgage payment it was not posted to my account correctly and now I have a 30-day late showing on my credit report. The payment was made at one of their branch locations and although I have provided copies of receipts and canceled checks they continue to show the payment as never being made. This has derailed my attempt to refinance my loan (thus forcing me to stay their customer at a higher interest rate) and has impacted my, and the co-borrower's, credit ratings.


I have spent hours on the phone and in the bank branch trying to get this resolved only to be told that they know I paid; however, they can't find the money in their system so they cannot help me.


I am looking for others that Chase has done this to as it is about time that consumers stand up to organizations that cannot control their own computer systems and cause the consumer to suffer the consequences.
