HEWLETT PACKARD MONEY GRUBBERS
|
HP Computers Global Communication Technologies, Inc. 2420 Flagstone Drive Plano, TX 75075 US www.globaltech-bg.com I've purchased 4 HP computers over the past 16 months. Each one had a problem requiring HP repair or replacement. The latest one I purchased in May and had power problems until it finally died and would not boot. After several days with tech support, sending power supply and not resolving the problem, I was then promised an advanced replacement. After getting off the phone, I was sent an email indicating an empty box would be sent to me for repairing the unit. I called the management office for support, they confirmed the tech told me I would get an advanced replacement but said he was not authorized to do this and apologized. In speaking with a supervisor he was completely rude, unapologetic about the problem, and basically had the attitude that I spent my money and I will have to deal with what they will give me. I asked for his manager and he said that he could not provide that and hung up. I wrote to corporate about the problems I had and the girl who contacted me (Sheri) was not any further help. I spent over a week on the phone helping them identify who promised the advanced replacement, who was the supervisor that had been so rude and basically spending alot of my personal time helping HP weed out some bad people. She promised to expedite my repairs but I waiting the full time (8-11 days) for repair. Dumbfoundedly, she could not offer even an apology for the trouble I experienced and was more interested in covering her butt to locate problems within the organization. When I worked with AOL, I recommended Compaq/HP and was partially responsible for over 100,000 PCs purchased by AOL. HP is all about the money but did not reciprocate to do anything for me. My latest HP PC was purchase May 2nd, just weeks before the complimentary upgrade to windows 7. HP would not offer this or anything else as a tangible apology for the troubles I've had with their PCs. I'm so finished with HP. Their support is where Dell was 5 years ago, TERRIBLE! They don't care about customers or treating them with due respect, and don't appear to realize who funds their paychecks. Don't buy from them. The PCs are great, but if you have ANY trouble you will want to put a gun to your head after attempting to get it repaired. Save yourself the bullets!
