They Charge 110.00 for cleaning and over 200.00 a night, for a very dirty house with mouse dropping everywhere and traps. Also Mold and sewage smell! Cockroaches.

The sheets were dirty and dirty counters and floors. I did complain to owner Jack Wood, but he never got back to me. I fell since I had to wash all the sheets and spend the first day cleaning the house, that I should get the cleaning fee back.

My family rented this house for a week last summer, in July of 2010, just before the oil disaster. While I did not find the house to be as dirty as this review says, I did specifically ask about the complaint and ask for assurances that the cottage would be clean and free of pests. I have to say that the pictures of the cottage must have been several years old, because it was in much worse condition than it looks online. It is also very cluttered with the owners' personal effects, and everything in it is old. It's somewhat like staying in your grandparents' house, if your grandparents put labels and signs all over the house that say things like "Don't lose the clickers!" We also found out that the fee we paid was much higher than anything on the same street, which was mostly much nicer, bigger, newer houses than this one. I bear no ill will to the owners, but people should know what they're getting for the money.
