Very simply, when I went to print out a copy of my receipt for a purchase it either didn't print or someone took it from the printer of the public computer I was using. I had already logged off so I was unable to get back to it to print it out. It had all my credit card info on it and I didn't know if the info was stolen. I e-mailed ebay but couldn't get a response that day. The next day I went back to work to try and find out what they suggested about my information being compromised, and if I could still receive a copy of my receipt. Well, what a disaster!!! I spent over three hours using their e-mail response service. Three hours!!! I couldn't believe it!!! I couldn't call anyone because they don't have a customer service phone line. So I used what was available and it took forever. And if that wasn't bad enough, I spoke to five different people over all this. Each one shunted me off to another representative where I had to explain everything all over again. Not only was it exhausting but I couldn't get answers to my concerns!!! So I just kept trying until finally one representative told me straight out that I would not be able to get the receipt copy I wanted. As to the possibility of my informaton being stolen, they had few suggestions. It was an unbelievably exhausting and energy-sapping experience that I would never want to repeat again. At the very least ebay should train their agents better so people with concerns can be treated respectfully and in a timely manner.
