Never, ever trust Honeybaked Ham Company

My wife died in August. Thinking that I couldn't properly cook a Thanksgiving dinner for my boys, I ordered a full turkey dinner, with stuffing, sides, desert, etc. I placed my order in October. The meal was scheduled to be delivered on Wednesday, November 27, the day before Thanksgiving.

On Wednesday, November 27, I received a message from the shipper that delivery had been rescheduled for November 30. I called Honeybaked Ham and they response was (1) it was the shipper's fault; (2) they never guaranteed timely delivery. They refunded my money and acted as if they had done me a favor.

Not one person at Honeybaked Ham was the least bit concerned that our Thanksgiving dinner was ruined.

Never, ever trust Honeybaked Ham to deliver as you would expect.

I ordered some Candy on 12/8/09 for my mom and her coworkers and had it delivered to the office where they work. I added a special holiday message for everyone and didn't add my name at the end because I assumed that my name and address would automatically be placed on the package like anything you order, right? I found out Honey Baked Ham did not put my name and address on the package, and my mom's boss ended up taking everything home to his family and they ate it all! When I called to complain, I think I was on hold more than I actually got to talk and all I got was that my name was supposed to go in the message section. Just a warning if you ever order anything from this crappy company make sure you at least put your name in the message section if you decide to leave a message.
