Chase Bank

Chase has the worst customer service I have ever experience from a bank.

First, I complained about charges the bank charged me for my debit card use. Now get this, the bank charges 33.00 to 35.00 dollars for insufficient funds in a customer's account! But here is the kicker, if a customer has $2.00 in their account and buys something for $3.00 using their debit card; the bank allows the transaction to go through then charges the customer $33.00 to $35.00 for the transaction. If the customer makes another purchase at a different location for another $3.00 an hour later, the bank again charges the customer another $33.00 to $35.00!

As a result, the bank would ultimately charge a customer $66.00 to $70.00 for a $6.00 bank transaction. To add insult to injury, if the same customer tries to use their debit card to make a credit purchase for the same $3.00 amounts described above, the purchase transaction would not go through (stating insufficient funds). Now, what's wrong with this picture?

This has happened to me several times. When I try contacted the bank to talk with an assistant branch manager or regional manager, regarding my complaint, my calls are never returned. Today I decided to close my account with this bank. I can sincerely say, the bank has the worst customer service that I had ever experience, and is a big rip-off to say the least. If I was you, I would stay clear from this bank!

This is typical of Chase. It never occurs to them that their incompetent training leads to dissatisfied customers. I also will be leaving Chase for a bank that wishes to retain customers and offers real customer service resources.
