I work for an art gallery and this past month we have begun using FedEx to ship artist's their work back. I have been in charge of making those arrangements. It has been a nightmare. They have yet to come the day/time they say they will. Or they come ofter business hours, and then have to come back (and they charge us for every time they come so its another fight to get them to remove the charge for coming after business hours.) Their automated service is worthless. Even though they have been here multiple times, each new time they forget where we are and go to the wrong building. (And since they have to come again they try to charge us again, though they went to the wrong building.) Most of these items are time sensitive because artist's use them for other shows. I will never use them for my personal shipping needs. I am trying to get our gallery to switch the contract to UPS.
