In December of 2007, I bought a brand new gas free standing stainless steel range---with a warming oven--the first year was fine. The second year, I was baking and the oven began beeping--there was an error message--called help line---thats a joke--and would not stop heating---I had to disconnect it from power sources. After three days ( without cooking) service came, it required a part and $300.00 later, I had my stove back. That was less than three months ago. Today I was baking and the same error message---it began overheating even though I turned the heat off---so I disconnect the power--call the HELP line again---and NOW--Sears will make a service call but if there is any other problem than the original problem, I pay the total, no matter what.

Sears is a rip off. At this point, I would have paid for the stove twice. I have a Sears Side by side, dishwasher, grill, dehumidifier, etc. But I am done with Sears. IF this is the best that they can do, someone else gets another chance. This is the poorest excuse for business I have ever seen.

I went to a local appliance store and bought another brand. I emailed my family and friends.
