DIRECT TV SHYSTERS

In my opinion - Direct TV, and anyone who works for them, are nothing but shysters, liars, and thieves. We, unfortunately, called Direct TV for one of their offers, trying to find a cheaper tv provider. After having talked to one of their foreign lackeys who told us what the package included, we agreed. We should've known better since he couldn't even pronounce our name. We agreed to have the satellite dish installed and as soon as the installer left we found out that the DVR box did not work properly. We talked to Direct TV several times trying to get the kinks worked out, just to be told that "oh, yes, most people have to send back that box and get another, newer one." What?! We just had this one installed. And then we find out that their foreign lackey LIED to us all the way and what we ordered would be twice as much as we were told - and not in our budget. We talked to them several times and never was able to resolve the issue so after only TWO DAYS we called and cancelled. They sent us a box to send back the receiver - which we did - and now have a useless satellite dish sitting on our roof! AND to top it all, now they have gone into our bank account and removed $497.99 WITH NO AUTHORIZATION TO DO SO saying we have to pay for the 2 year subscription. WE CANCELLED WITHIN 2 DAYS! This is how Direct TV is getting their money - BY SCREWING EVERYONE.
