birth design custom jewerly Birth Design US www.birthdesign.com I found the add in Parents Magazine. I thought it was a great idea. I went ahead and placed an order online in May. It said that it takes 4-6 weeks. After about eight weeks and still I have not received my necklace, I contacted Bonnie. I received and e-mail which stated â??***Please note, we had a server crash on 5/10 which resulted in a 2-week loss of data. We're getting it back up as soon as we can, but your current status may not be reflected online if you ordered between the time of 5/1 and 5/14.***â?? So I gave her a few more weeks. Once I tried to contact her again, I received an e-mail giving a long story about how her husband told her that he was leaving her for another woman when she was in the middle of giving birth. I felt bad for her. I waited another month. I e-mailed the company again and was working with Sarah. She told me that my order was lost in the computer crash and to give her the information and she would get it on the forging bench. Now it is November and they will not return my calls or e-mails. I WANT MY MONEY BACK! I so far have only received a confirmation from Paypal, that they recieved my money. I have emailed them 4 times so far and called once to find out if they got my order and the estimated time of start or completion for the item I ordered. I am not getting any response to any of my attempts to contact them. It has been a month now and after some research I find this is not the first time this has happened. Apparently someone else has been waiting since May of 2009 to receive an item from them. umm 7 months to receive a hand crafted item. OK this is sad. I am going to wait a few more days for a response then I am going to pursue a refund through them or through paypal. Thank goodness I at least paid through paypal so there is hope of getting my money back. But I am extremely saddened at the thought of not getting the item I ordered. I hope they get their stuff together and not drag their personal life into their business. Its not cool. Although Bonnie repeatedly assured me I would have the gifts by Christmas, and I paid an extra $50 for expedited forging on 2 items, I never recieved my items. She told me on 5 separate e-mails it was "sent" but later said it wasn't. She even went so far as to send me a ficticious FEDEX tracking number. I filed a dispute through my Visa card and will get my money back that way as I have her e-mails eventually promising a refund. Beware of this company! I have exchanged numerous emails with Bonnie. She stated she would refund my money but I have yet to see it. This company has an "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau. I plan on writing to Parents Magazine as well. I would be more than happy to give you your money back. With each of our unfortunate trials this summer, we offered to give refunds to those who did not wish to wait. All were immediately acted upon. If you chose to wait each time, and now wish a refund, I just need to know. Please email (I know you say you have, but I have no idea who you are and have never knowingly not refunded an order upon request, before it is made.
