I needed to add a car to an exsisting policy in order to get tags. I used the website to update my policy, but somehow I ended up with 2 exactly the same policies. Geico took the payment on the day of my update. I called within a couple days to have one policy removed before the regularly scheduled payment was deducted from my account. I was advised it was done and that the money from the most recent policy would be credited back to my account. It was not and the original payment was also deducted from my account. I called and was advised that there was a problem with my bannk and they were unable to deposit the amount. I was told a check was mailed to me. I waited a couple days to see if a check would come in the mail, but no check. Meanwhile, when I checked the duplicate account to see the amount of the refund, the refund amount was minus the service charge. I called again to see where my money was. Actually, it took serveral calls to get this straight. I was told the reason I did not get my money back was my abnks fault, my fault everyone's fault by Geico's. It took me 6 weeks to get my money back, but Gieco was able to take the money in a metter of minutes. I am not a caveman.
