I had purchased a used car from a private owner on September 2nd of 2009 with an advice of the mechanic/owner (Roger R Kimmet) of Garland Auto in Spokane Washington. Before purchasing the vehicle, the mechanic stated that the only problem he saw that I would eventually need to replace the rear breaks in about 30,000 to 40,000 miles. He also stated the he did not like the color of the car. On November 11th, I took the car to the mechanic because I heard a rattle or a snap sound on the rear of my tire. When I took my car in, he stated I need to replace all four breaks and shocks, I need the engine mount replaces, and replace the clutch. It would cost me $2,000 or more. He still has my car and now he said the car will not start at all and is not sure what the problem is. I strongly feel that the mechanic is taking me for all I am worth.
