Purchased the dishwasher in November 2009 and it never cleaned very well from day 1. It would occasionally get hung on cycles and then it got more frequent. We tried different detergents hoping those might be the problem. Finally, in August of 2009 we had enough and decided to contact Sears. This began the nightmare.

As of today I have called / spoken with one or more of the following more than 10 times and my dishwasher is still not draining correctly:

1) Customer Service people from the store I purchased the dishwasher.

2) The manager of the store from which I purchased the dishwasher.

3) Customer service people on the 1-800 number from Sears.

In a nutshell, its the usual "run around" tactics. The 1-800 number tells me to contact the store and the store tells me to contact the 1-800 number. After going back and forth they eventually send out a technician. He's been out twice now and, you guessed it, he's coming again this Friday. The tech has told us both times that the dishwasher is a "piece of junk". But he won't put it in writing for fear of losing his job. Have you ever heard of such??!!

If I owned Sears I would WELCOME the feedback from my customers and technicians and use it to make better products.

Anyway, that's my complaint. For the money they have spent sending out the tech they could have just replaced the defective product. I've had a Sears card for years, I get my car serviced there, and my entire family have been lifelong customers.

We will NEVER buy anything from Sears again.
