Broken goods on delivery

Goods were received and signed for by a storeman at my workplace seven weeks after ordering. On my receipt of the goods, moving the boxes was noisy with broken pieces rattling, even though the boxes were intact. When opened, the boxes contained the shattered china basin and broken vanity. Both supplier and the delivery company deny responsibility.
